High Protein Hummus Dip

Looking for a delicious, wholefood dip recipe you can easily whip up with just a few ingredients for your Christmas and New Year celebrations?⁠

We love hummus - it's already packed full of healthy protein thanks to the chickpeas, which also provide a rich source of vitamins, minerals and fibre. Plus we like to add a scoop of VIVO Nue Au Naturel protein powder, for an added protein kick!⁠

Enjoy this festive season and try serving this delicious dip with radicchio leaves and raw vegetables such as carrots, capsicum and cherry tomatoes.⁠

Ingredients
2 cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 scoop VIVO Nue Au Naturel protein powder
1/4 cup water
1/3 cup tahini
1/8 cup olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
2 garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Nigella seeds
Extra olive oil
Method
1. Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy. 
2. To serve, add hummus to a bowl and drizzle a little extra olive oil over the top of the hummus and sprinkle with nigella seeds.
