Gingerbread Smoothie

1 frozen banana, chopped 2tsp ground ginger 2tsp ground cinnamon 1 scoop Au Natural Alkaline Complete Protein 1/2 nutmeg, finely grated 1 cup vanilla almond milk 1tbsp maple syrup   Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for 2 minutes. Pour into a glass over ice and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.  

This toasted cinnamon nutty granola is a tasty way to add protein into your fruity breakfast, and for me, I found it to be a great incentive to get more fruit into my diet. It’s a quick one to whip up, and the simple combination of flavours pairs easily with a wide variety of fruit,
